As the fourth addition to the ”EasyPACK for Google Apps” service series for expanding Google Apps’ (※1) functions, i³ Systems, Inc. (headquartered in Onojo City, Fukuoka; CEO: Tsutomu Sasaki; GEP [※2]) began offering “ EasyGroupBoard for Google Apps” today.

Summary of "EasyGroupBoard for Google Apps" Service

"EasyPACK for Google Apps" is a group of products that expand upon Google Apps' functions and are offered as set of services for our "Easy for Apps" total support service, which helps you get started with, utilize, or expand your Google Apps. EasyPack makes the integration and operation of Google Apps smoother, in addition to satisfying demands for more sophisticated functions through the use of Google Apps APIs.

We plan to offer the full set of seven services in Q1 of 2009, and have released EasyGroupBoard for Google Apps as the fourth addition to the service set.

Main Functions of "EasyGroupBoard for Google Apps"

Group Calendar

Since Google Calendar information can be viewed and edited on a per member basis for each format, users can confirm schedule information in the format of a daily or weekly table. In addition, EasyGroupBoard is equipped with a "Setting" function that enables members to integrate multiple calendars to share as their own schedule when publishing their agenda to other members. With these functions, even if a member's individual schedule is scattered in multiple calendars, all of their agenda information can be displayed when other members reference it, achieving a simpler way to manage and share schedules by segmentalizing the calendar.

Active Status

EasyGroupBoard comes with status management tools that can be used as a time card or in task management. Members can freely set their statuses to "In the Office", "Gone for the Day", "In a Meeting", and "Out of Office", as well as record and post the start and conclusion of activities. Those statuses can be shared within the domain, allowing other users to promptly ascertain that member's status.

Additionally, the time, place (IP), and a memo are saved when members change their status, making EasyGroupBoard applicable in a wide variety of management procedures.
