In the "Easy for Apps Labs" Partner Program, participants can receive training geared towards developers as well as development support. They will have the "Easy for Apps Ruby Library" source code (a Ruby on Rails plug-in) for accessing Google Apps and other Google services disclosed to them, in addition to being allowed to conduct testing and integration of Google Apps expansion applications that i³ Systems is in the midst of developing.

At i³ Systems, we are pursuing the development of "EasyPACK for Google Apps", a series of products that utilize the Google Apps API and have been uniquely extended. As our first installment of this product series, we plan to offer "EasyPanel" (a setting tool geared towards administrators) and "EasyGate" (an access control tool) in late January of this year. In addition, we intend to release a total of seven products within Q1 of 2009, including the address book sharing tool "EasyContacts", "EasyGroupBoard" (equipped with a group calendar and more), the workflow function "EasyFlow", and more!

 

While we predict that the necessity of these kinds of collaborative solutions with Google Apps will only increase in the future, through the aforementioned product development, we are now aware that the lack of Google Apps-related API libraries in the Ruby language as well as problems with document languages are posing issues.
In order to resolve these issues, i³ Systems has started this partner program through the provision and support of the Easy for Apps Ruby library (a uniquely developed Ruby language version of the Google Apps API's Client Library), paving the way for the availability of sophisticated Google Apps-related solutions even in Ruby language.
