a Framework Library that Actualizes the Development of
Professional iPhone / iPad Apps With HTML5 and JavaScript
i³ Systems, Inc. (headquartered in Onojo City, Fukuoka; CEO: Tsutomu Sasaki) is pleased to announce the commercial availability of our framework library for the rapid development of iPhone / iPad business applications with HTML and JavaScript, Yubizo Engine, as of February 21, 2011.
In conjunction with the commercial release of Yubizo Engine, i³ Systems will conduct seminars in the theater on the third floor of the Apple Store Ginza building on Wednesday, February 23rd and Saturday, March 5th.
About the Yubizo Developer Program
By joining the Yubizo Developer Program (our membership program for individual corporations), developers can begin using Yubizo Engine to develop applications.
The Yubizo Developer Program includes an annually renewable license for up to five developers to use Yubizo Engine in application development, and the use of a Yubizo Developer Portal site (which provides an API reference, sample codes, a support desk, etc.) prepared for each program member. i³ Systems also plans to offer the charged upgrade version these portal sites, Yubizo Developer Portal Premier, in the near future. With Yubizo Developer Portal Premier, administrators have access to operational / management functions that can lock or wipe apps developed with Yubizo Engine.
About Yubizo Engine
Yubizo Engine is a framework library for the development of native or hybrid iPhone applications that utilizes next-generation web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. By enabling development through the use of these technologies, Yubizo Engine allows web engineers to apply the resources of knowledge and know-how they have accumulated thus far directly to smart device application development.
Because Yubizo Engine allows for the design of application user interfaces using HTML and CSS, the sensibility of web engineers (which has continually provided superior usability) can now be utilized in iPhone/iPad application development that demands intuitive multi-touch operability. Yubizo Engine is equipped with over 200 functions like cameras, a bar-code reader, a TV monitor output and more, making application development as simple as calling theses APIs up with JavaScript.
With the continued prevelance of cloud services and smart device, we anticiapte a demand for the provision of applications independent of devices. In this respect, i³ Systems is confident that placing web technologies like HTML and JavaScript at the center of development will become crucial in corporate IT strategy, which was a major factor in our development of Yubizo Engine.
